The nonprofit National Association of State Parks Foundations supports the army of volunteers and Friends groups that help care for the nation’s 8,500 state park and forests. These volunteers and nonprofit Friends groups support the work of park managers and staff, raise funds for projects in the parks, run educational and environmental programs, and much more. Without them, many parks would not be able to operate. The National Association works to connect, build, elevate and empower its members through training, networking, and advocacy.
